It’s that time of year again!

West Shore Bank invites you to make a real difference this holiday season! Join us in donating Christmas meals to families in Mason, Manistee, Oceana and Benzie counties for the Bank’s Spirit of Giving Christmas meal fundraising campaign.

Each year, West Shore Bank partners with area grocery stores and food pantries to provide Christmas meals to local families in need. Last year, enough money was raised to distribute 786 meals locally. This year, the Bank celebrates 12 years of this fundraising campaign.

West Shore Bank matches the first $1,000 raised in Mason County and $500 in Oceana, Manistee and Benzie Counties.

“Making a real difference is not only part of our mission, but something we take very seriously. Our bank staff looks forward to giving back and providing as many holiday meals as possible every year. With the financial hardship this year’s pandemic has had on our community, we feel that it’s more important now than ever to support each other, and providing Christmas meals for this meaningful campaign is one way we know we can make a difference.” -Raymond A. Biggs, President and CEO of West Shore Bank

Donations can be made online here or at any of our banking offices through November 27.

Spirit of Giving would not be possible without the support of our partners. Shop-N-Save of Ludington and Benzonia, Hansen Foods in Hart and Family Fare in Manistee generously offer a special price for the purchase of a complete meal to be distributed to local food pantries for Christmas dinner. The dinner consists of a whole chicken, stuffing, vegetables, potatoes and a dessert.

Meals are distributed in each county by our food pantry partners: Lakeshore Food Club, Cornerstone Baptist Church, COVE, Caritas Food Pantry, FIVECAP, Bachelor Evangelical Covenant Church, Free Soil and Fountain United Methodist Church and Fountain Community Center in Mason County, Salvation Army in Manistee County, Trinity Lutheran Food Pantry, St. Gregory’s Bread of Life Food Pantry and Walkerville Wesleyan in Oceana County, and Benzie Area Christian Neighbors in Benzie County.
