If
you’ve ever moved
your checking account to
a new bank, the experience
probably left you with one
firm conviction: never again.
We don’t blame you.
Because if you have any
automatic payments or direct
deposits linked to your
account, switching can be
nothing but one big hassle.
What if that hassle wasn’t
yours? What if you didn’t
have to make so many phone
calls or write so many letters?
What if all you had to do
was complete a few simple
forms and let us handle
everything else?
That’s
the idea behind this West
Shore Bank Switch Kit. Here’s
how it works:
Step 1: Open a West
Shore Bank checking account.
You can stop by any office
or apply
online. Or just give
us a call at 1-888-295-4373
and we’ll obtain the
necessary information to
begin the opening process.
Step 2: Move your
automatic payments and direct
deposits.
- As
soon as you get your new
checks, complete the enclosed
Authorization
Forms for each automatic
payment that’s coming
out of your old checking
account. Do the same for
each direct deposit.
- For
automatic payments, attach
one voided check from
your new West Shore Bank
account. For direct deposits,
attach a deposit slip.
- Send
your completed forms to
us at the address indicated,
and we’ll do the
rest.
Step
3: When to close your old
account.
Examine your new checking
account statement when it
arrives. Once you’re
sure all of your automatic
payments and direct deposits
have switched over to your
new account, send the enclosed
“Authorization
to Close My Checking Account”
(36K pdf) form to your old
bank. Or send the form to
us and we’ll forward
it for you.
So there you have it. No
pain. Quick change. After
all, if we want your business,
shouldn’t we do all
the work involved in getting
it?
