West Shore Bank is pleased to donate $15,000 to support the restoration and reopening of the Historic Vogue Theatre of Manistee.
“West Shore Bank’s commitment is ‘Making a Real Difference’ in the communities it serves,” said Beth McCarthy, member of the Vogue Theatre Capital Campaign. “This donation will surely make a positive, lasting difference in the lives of theatre goers throughout Michigan for generations to come.”
McCarthy said that the Historic Vogue Theatre of Manistee nonprofit will commemorate the Theatre’s projection booth in the name of the bank to recognize their contribution.
“We are proud to join the more than 550 individuals and organizations that have donated or made grants so that this great community theatre will once again become an entertainment gathering place for people throughout the Manistee county region,” said Raymond A. Biggs, President of West Shore Bank. “The reopening of the Vogue will make a big difference for people of all ages who seek great entertainment, just as it will make a big difference in the revitalization of downtown Manistee.”
With two full-service locations in Manistee and six additional locations in Mason and Oceana Counties, West Shore Bank is committed to supporting the local community and providing valuable financial solutions to all its customers.
“For over 100 years, West Shore Bank has been a major supporter of west Michigan’s communities and businesses,” McCarthy said. “As an independent and locally owned community bank, they are dedicated to making our communities strong, vibrant places to live. This gift certainly reflects that commitment.”
In 2011, West Shore Bank was honored by the publication U.S. Banker as one of America’s top 200 community banks.
