West Shore Bank is pleased to announce that a portion of the vendor proceeds raised at the second annual Rhythm & Dunes Summer Community Concerts event will once again be donated to the music programs at area schools. This year’s concerts attracted thousands of music lovers to Waterfront Park in Downtown Ludington. The Bank is pleased to extend the success of the event to the music programs at three deserving Mason County schools – Ludington, Mason County Central and Mason County Eastern Schools. In addition to the vendor proceeds, West Shore Bank added additional monies to enable donations totaling $2,250.00 to these schools.
West Shore Bank would like to thank the broader west shore community for coming out to enjoy the Rhythm & Dunes concerts and for making the event such a success. The Bank would also like to extend a special thank you to the vendors – Dave’s Dogs, House of Flavors, Hungry Howie’s Pizza and Lela’s Kettle Corn – for generously donating a portion of their proceeds to the music programs. At a luncheon on Friday, September 13, the Bank presented their donation to representatives from each school’s music program.
“We were thrilled with the large number of music fans that came out this year,” said Raymond A. Biggs, President and CEO of West Shore Bank. “It is wonderful to see the support our community has for our schools’ music programs. West Shore Bank is proud to be a part of making a real difference in our local communities and schools.”
